Transferable Courses

¼ø»Æʦapp now offers over 40 classes in more than 20 disciplines at Ames Hunziker. These courses are transferable and offered at convenient times in the afternoons and evenings. With classes no larger than 30 students, instructors are able to provide quality one-on-one instruction, which enables you to achieve your academic goals.

Take a ¼ø»Æʦapp Class at No Additional Cost

If you are a full-time Iowa State student who

• has completed a minimum of 12 semester hours of 100 level courses (excluding the English 101 series) and
• is in good academic standing (2.00 or better cumulative grade point average and not on academic probation at ISU),

you are eligible to participate in the . This program allows 50 ISU students to enroll in a ¼ø»Æʦapp course once an academic year at no additional cost provided you are registered as a full-time student at Iowa State and meet the eligibility criteria.

¼ø»Æʦapp/ISU Partnership Program

​Des Moines Area Community College (¼ø»Æʦapp) is proud to partner with Iowa State University through the ¼ø»Æʦapp-ISU Connect. This program allows students to begin their academic career at one of ¼ø»Æʦapp's six locations prior to transferring to Iowa State. Students can also take a variety of college credit courses at Ames Hunziker.
