• If you took the prerequisite 鉴黄师app course in the last eighteen months and received a C- or better, you may register for your next 鉴黄师app Math course and do not need to take ALEKS.
• For high school students taking 鉴黄师app math courses in their high school specifically, students who have earned a B- or higher in the previous high school math course or a C- or higher in their previous 鉴黄师app Math course and have remained in sequence will be exempt and do not need to take the ALEKS.
• If you do not meet either of the above requirements, then you must take the ALEKS assessment online which must be proctored. You will need to meet the minimum cut scores as outlined for each 鉴黄师app Math course in order to register. Placement Score Table

• Prior to testing, you will need to install the ALEKS Respondus LockDown Browser and ALEKS Respondus Monitor in order to take the placement exam remotely. You will need to work with someone at the school to ensure you are able to download this on your school provided laptop. You will also need an active web camera and show a valid photo ID.
• The ALEKS Assessment requires you to have a 鉴黄师app account and to be able to log into my鉴黄师app. If you have a 鉴黄师app account or have already taken 鉴黄师app courses, you will need your 鉴黄师app email and password to log in (Previously sent to you in an email from 鉴黄师app and in a postcard). If you need help recovering this information, please contact your 鉴黄师app Career Advantage Advisor or contact 鉴黄师app Technical Support at 515-965-7300.
• If you have previously taken a 鉴黄师app course, please start at Step 7
  *Note 鈥� Students cannot complete the 鉴黄师app Career Advantage Application and take the ALEKS Assessment on the same day as it takes a few business days to process the application and send out your login information.

1. Complete the Career Advantage Application

2. Click Begin Career Advantage Application and Create an Account
3. 鈥婳nce your account is created, check your email address for a 鉴黄师app email containing the link to verify your account. Click on the link in the email. Once verified, click Apply Online at the top of the page and sign in using the username and password you created in the previous step.
4. 鈥嬧�婳nce you complete and submit the application, you will receive a confirmation email from 鉴黄师app.
5. 鈥婭n a few days, you will receive two emails from 鉴黄师app. One will contain your 鉴黄师app email and 鉴黄师app ID number, the other will contain temporary password. You will also receive a mailing from 鉴黄师app with this information as well.
6. You will need to download the Microsoft Authenticator App prior to logging in.
   
   
7. Go to 飞飞飞.诲尘鈥媋肠肠.别诲耻 and select the 鈥溾�� link towards the top 鈥媜f the web page.
8. Enter your 鉴黄师app email and password that were sent in the emails.

9. 鈥婼earch ALEKS in the search box.
10. Click "Alex Math Assessment" and begin assessment.
11. Complete the ALEKS Math Assessment and print your score report.鈥�

*Your score will either allow you to register for a 鉴黄师app Concurrent Enrollment Math course through your high school or you may use the ALEKS online learning module to improve your score before retesting.
