Before You Register for Credit Classes
- Apply for Admission to ¼ø»ÆÊ¦app
- After being accepted to ¼ø»ÆÊ¦app, students will receive a confirmation email or letter of acceptance.
- Students new to ¼ø»ÆÊ¦app or changing programs/majors are required to participate in New Student Orientation before registering.
Full Time Status = 12-20 credit hours during fall and spring semesters; 8-13 credit hours during the summer
Part Time Status = less than 12 credit hours during fall and spring semesters; less than 8 credit hours during the summer
How to Register for Classes
New to ¼ø»ÆÊ¦app
- New credit students must be accepted through the ¼ø»ÆÊ¦app Admissions office and complete
new student orientation for their program.
- Apply to ¼ø»ÆÊ¦app or review Admissions information.
- For assistance with the Admission process or choosing a program of study, reach out to the ¼ø»ÆÊ¦app Admissions Team.
- After being accepted to ¼ø»ÆÊ¦app, students will receive a confirmation email and letter
of acceptance along with their next steps.
- Students learn how to register during their online New Student Orientation.
Current Accepted Student
- Completed classes in a previous semester at ¼ø»ÆÊ¦app within the past 3 semesters at ¼ø»ÆÊ¦app (not including Career Advantage or Cross Enrolled).
- Having the same major since the last course taken.
- Students who wish to change their current program of study and have competed courses within the past three semesters must meet with a ¼ø»ÆÊ¦app staff member to complete a Program Change Form for their new program before they become eligible to register for a class.
- Returning students are encouraged to contact an advisor or counselor to verify that courses selected meet program/degree requirements.
- ​​If it has been ​3 years or more since being accepted to ¼ø»ÆÊ¦app, ​re-apply o​nline or contact ¼ø»ÆÊ¦app Admissions: admissions@dmacc.edu.
Guest Student
- If you attend another institution, apply to ¼ø»ÆÊ¦app as a Guest student (Non-degree seeking / Liberal Arts).
- Orientation is not required for Guest students.
- After you receive your ¼ø»ÆÊ¦app log-in information, you can register for classes via my¼ø»ÆÊ¦app. Online registration instructions are listed above and on the Add/Drop/Withdraw web page.
- Course prerequisites are enforced. Send your unofficial transcript to registration@dmacc.edu. The unofficial transcript must include your name, semester the course was completed and the final grade. Also include your ¼ø»ÆÊ¦app ID and the course you are wanting to register for.
