鉴黄师app Testing Center locations have specific hours of operation and tests available.

All 鉴黄师app campuses are closed on the following dates in 2026:

  • January 1
  • January 19
  • February 20 (In-Service)
  • May 25
  • July 3
  • September 7
  • October 23 (In-Service)
  • November 25 (close at 12:00 pm)
  • November 26-27
  • December 24-January 1, 2027

Additional test center closures and adjusted hours of operation are noted below for each location.

鉴黄师app Students should only use the link in their Canvas Modules "Schedule an exam at a testing center" to schedule instructor exams. The appointment scheduling forms for specific testing centers below will not connect 鉴黄师app Students to their class exams/quizzes.

 

Online/Remote Testing (All Campuses)

鉴黄师app offers remote testing for three assessments:

  1. ACCUPLACER庐 Assessment for 鉴黄师app (Reading and Writing).
  2. ACCUPLACER庐 Assessment for employment (Reading, Writing, and Math).
  3. ALEKS Assessment for 鉴黄师app Math Placement

Remote Testing:

  •  using Zoom and webcam + microphone.
  • Take 础颁颁鲍笔尝础颁贰搁庐 for 鉴黄师app at .
  • Remote ALEKS (Math) - see instructions under "Math Placement at 鉴黄师app".

Saturday Testing: The Ankeny Testing Center will be open the following Saturdays from 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.: 5/9, 6/13, 7/11, 8/8, 9/12, 10/10, 11/14, and 12/12.

Scheduling: Appointments are available for all exams and required for some. See below for requirements.

  • ACCUPLACER (Reading/Writing) Assessment 鈥� Allow 60 - 90 minutes for testing.*
  • ACCUPLACER (ELL) Assessment 鈥� Allow at least two hours for testing.*
  • ALEKS Math Assessment - Schedule an appointment to reserve a seat.*
    • ALEKS testing at Ankeny is the Computer Lab in Building 6 unless signage directs you to the Testing Center in Building 6.

    • December 12 - 23: ALEKS Assessments will be in the Testing Center in Building 6, Room 23. No appointment is required for the testing center.*
  • ATI TEAS Assessment 鈥� Allow four hours for check-in and testing.*
  • Challenge Tests - A Testing Center appointment is required after approval. Go to Tests Offered and scroll down to "Departmental Challenge Tests" to begin the approval process.
  • CLEP - Go to Tests Offered and scroll down to College Level Examination Program to register with CLEP, pay CLEP, and review the CLEP courses accepted by 鉴黄师app. After paying CLEP for the exam, you can schedule your appointment.
  • CNA Comp Test - Written Comp Test. Visit the  site to apply for testing.
  • Dental Board Certification - Allow one hour per test. Schedule an appointment.
  • 鉴黄师app proctored exams.
  • DNR Water Certifications - Testers need to call the DNR at 515-725-0463 for pre-approval. Per DNR guidelines, please do not schedule an appointment unless you have received an approval email from a 鉴黄师app testing center.
  • Firefighter Written Exam - Allow 2.5 hours. Candidates must before they schedule an appointment with the testing center.
  • Kirkwood Licensure Exams for the State of Iowa - Testers wanting to take the Plumbing and Mechanical Systems Board Exams must register with before making a testing appointment at 鉴黄师app.
  • Lead Abatement Contractor and Lead Inspector/Risk Assessor - call 515-256-4942 to pay for the exam then schedule an appointment.
  • PearsonVUE computer-based testing. Call for scheduling information.
  • Pesticide Applicator 鈥� Allow at least one hour for testing. Testers need to and bring their login information to the testing center. Schedule an appointment to reserve a seat.*
  • Other Colleges proctored exams. Make sure your instructor sends the test to ankenytestingcenter@dmacc.edu before scheduling an appointment.

Boone Testing Center
